About John
“I’m running for Council to bring my experience to the table, listen carefully to different perspectives, and contribute to the decisions shaping Ladysmith’s future.”
I live in Ladysmith with my partner and our two young children. Professionally, I work as a Project Manager in construction and infrastructure, managing complex projects and working with diverse teams to solve problems and make long-term decisions.
I’m also a volunteer with Ladysmith Search and Rescue. Living, working and volunteering here has given me a deep appreciation for the people and organizations that make Ladysmith the community it is.
I’m running for Council because I want to contribute my experience, listen carefully to different perspectives, and take part in the decisions that will shape Ladysmith in the years ahead.

Listening & Decision-Making
Listens carefully, asks questions, and considers different perspectives when making decisions about Ladysmith’s future.

Volunteerism & Community
Support strong, respectful relationships between the Town and the volunteers and organizations that contribute so much to our community.

Infrastructure
Plan responsibly for the water, roads, wastewater and municipal facilities Ladysmith will need in the years ahead.

Housing
Support housing options for people at different stages of life and income levels, while considering infrastructure, transportation and neighbourhoods.
